Welcome to the website of Zhezkazgan University! Our university is the only multidisciplinary university in the Ulytau region, a center of education, science and culture.

The scientific and innovative work of the university is aimed at developing fundamental and applied research, creating science-intensive products, meeting the needs of modern production and society. Zhezkazgan University systematically conducts research work in the following areas: the study of environmental problems in the region, the introduction of new technologies in production, ethno-cultural, ethno-pedagogical and historical-cultural development, socio-economic and legal problems, and many others.

The university has a developed infrastructure and a modern material and technical base. Nonresident students are provided with a comfortable hostel, classrooms and laboratories are equipped.

Our students actively participate in republican student Olympiads, competitions, conferences.

The concept of educational work has been adopted at the university. To implement the concept, activities are carried out in the following areas: socio-legal and political education of students, patriotic and international education, cultural and aesthetic development, as well as ethno-cultural education of students. Work is carried out with students in the hostel, activities are carried out to promote a healthy lifestyle, the development of various sports.

Our university is doing a lot of work on the social protection of students. A stable system of social support for students has been built, funds are allocated for nominal scholarships and additional grants for education, and funds are also allocated for holding mass sports and cultural events.
