On 10.02.2026, the Department of Electrical Power Industry and Labor Protection conducted a subject Olympiad in the discipline “Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering” with college students from the city of Zhezkazgan: the Municipal State Enterprise “Zhezkazgan Higher Polytechnic College” and Zhezkazgan Industrial and Humanitarian College.
The Olympiad was attended by second-year college students majoring in “Power Supply” as well as second-year students of Zhezkazgan University enrolled in the educational program “Electrical Power Engineering.”
During the Olympiad, students solved problems in the discipline “Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering.”
After reviewing the participants’ works, the commission decided:
To award places to the following teams:
I place – team of Zhezkazgan University students
II place – team of Zhezkazgan Higher Polytechnic College students
III place – team of Zhezkazgan Industrial and Humanitarian College students
Students who received prize-winning places were awarded certificates.
