On March 18, 2025, the faculty and students of the Department of “Electric Power Engineering and Labor Protection” held an open advisory session titled “National Clothing – A Reflection of National Spirit” as part of the Nauryznama Decade, in celebration of the Day of National Clothing. The event aimed to promote the culture, traditions, customs, and social values of the Kazakh people and the broader Kazakhstani society in line with the newly adopted concept. During the event, faculty and students showcased traditional national games such as “Asyq Atu” and “Tug of War,” and presented time-honored customs of our ancestors, including “Syrga Salu” (engagement ceremony) and “Kymyzmuryndyk” (offering of the first fermented mare’s milk). Faculty members and staff also took part in a quiz and received prizes. At the end of the event, guests were treated to the national dish “Nauryz Kozhe” and a variety of traditional delicacies.
